It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, you must visit New York City at least one time in your life. This truly is the city that never sleeps. You could walk out of your hotel room at three in the morning and you will see people walking around. Several stores, restaurants, bars and nightclubs will be open. That said, you’re probably more interested in what takes place during the day. During that time, you will experience the highest energy environment in the world, which will make you feel more alive than ever before.

Traveling to New York is a blast, but you need to know where to stay. In order to make the most of your trip, be sure to look into a New York City Hotel Guide. By taking this approach, you will be able to find the best location based on what you want to see and do. For example, if you want to spend the majority of your time in Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo and Greenwich Village, then you should book a hotel downtown. On the other hand, if you want to spend the majority of your time near popular attractions, such as the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Time Square, Broadway and Madison Square Garden, then you should look for a hotel in midtown.

There will likely be a significant difference between these two types of hotels. Most downtown hotels are boutique hotels with a more artsy feel. Most midtown hotels are classy, modern and grand. These hotels will also offer the best views. There aren’t many hotels uptown because it’s mostly a residential area.

Regardless of where you stay, there are a few things you should expect when it comes to New York City Hotels. One, the service will be extraordinary. Hotels in this city will only hire the best of the best. Two, the food in or around your hotel will be some of the best food you have ever eaten. Three, your room will be spacious and comfortable. If you’re ready to plan your trip to New York City, then look into a New York City Hotel Guide now.

Pace University has been known for their strict but fair admissions, great academics and strong community. Campus events play a huge part in Pace University’s success and has been that way for almost 20 years. It’s not a secret that events happen all year round but there are a couple of events at Pace University that really stand out.

Brazil Day at Pace University
On Pace University events Schedule every year you will find Brazil Day at Pace University, which happens at the NYC Campus and has been a big event for years. This isn’t just your average carnival, and even though it offers the beautiful girl from Impanema, and the gorgeous beaches, along with Samba and soccer. Brazil Day has even more to celebrate now that Brazil has become the host for the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics. The great thing about Brazil Day is that it is absolutely free of charge and anyone can participate.

Annual Setters Club Golf Classic
This is another event that you will find on Pace University events schedule. The annual Setters club golf Classic is held at the Hollow Brook Golf Club on Oregon Road in Cortlandt Manor, New York. The Hollow Brook Club is known to be one of the most serene places to hold a Pace University Event. The Annual Setters Club Classic is an event held by Pace University New York for alumni to support and enhance the growth of student athletes. The thing that makes this Pace University New York event special is that all proceeds that are earned are invested back into the school for facility improvements.

The Annual Pace Pitch Contest
The Pace Pitch contest shows on the Pace University events schedule every year. This is one of those Pace University events that bring business minded students in front of reality. This event is based on the venture capital community and it brings together different business models, competitive analysis, financial plans and marketing strategies. The object of the Annual Pace pitch contest is that an entrepreneur is given a few minutes to pitch their idea to potential investors. This annual Pace University Event is located One Place Plaza and you can enter at 3 spruce Street.

The history the of New York University Institute of Fine Arts (http://nyu.edu/gsas/dept/fineart) began in 1831 when New York University was established. Well-known painter and inventor of the telegraph Samuel F. B. Morse was the first Professor of Fine Arts at New York University. He taught his students the practice of art and trained them to study and understand its history. When the young architect and scholar Fiske Kimball was appointed the Professor of the Literature of the Arts of Design in 1922, he founded a program at the university focusing solely on art history. Though he was unaware of it at the time, he was laying the groundwork for what would someday become one of the most renowned schools specializing in the fine arts.

Named the New York University Institute of Fine Arts in 1937, the IFA is one of fourteen divisions at New York University. Thanks in part to its excellent faculty and close relationships with many of New York’s museums, the Institute is considered one of the best graduate schools in the field of art history. The IFA received its highest praise in 1973 when the National Endowment for the Humanities celebrated the Institute as an outstanding leader in the historical training and scholarship of art.

The IFA offers Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in art history, archeology, conservation, and curatorial studies. Not only does the IFA offer its students the best in fine art education, but the Institute also offers many different events and programs to the general public throughout the academic year. Some of these programs include an annual lecture series, symposia, and conferences that cover a wide variety of diverse topics, genres, and time periods.

Located in the culture-rich Upper East Side of Manhattan since 1931, the IFA is easily accessible by public transportation and is in close proximity to Central Park. The Institute is situated along New York’s Museum Mile, making it extremely handy for students and visitors to view and appreciate many different galleries, all at a close distance.

The New York University Institute of Fine Arts in New York has a rich, long-standing history that only continues to grow. With its great location and exceptional reputation, it is one of New York City’s greatest treasures.
